Request for Qualifications: Architectural & Engineering Design Services for Rebuilding the Mariposa Campus (RFQ PWS2026-02)
Pasadena Waldorf School (PWS) invites qualified, California-licensed architectural and engineering (A&E) firms to submit Statements of Qualifications to design the rebuild of its Paquita Lick Machris Campus at 209 E. Mariposa Street in Altadena. The campus was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. The selected firm will lead a community-engaged process from programming and entitlements through construction documents. The result will be a buildable, fire-hardened, sustainable campus design grounded in Waldorf education. Bidding and construction-phase services are optional.
PWS will choose the firm through qualifications-based selection. Do not include fees or pricing; any pricing will be discussed only with the top-ranked firm. The project may use federal funds, including FEMA Public Assistance, and all services must comply with 2 C.F.R. Part 200.

Attend a site visit. At least one visit is mandatory. To register, email sbrawley@pasadenawaldorf.org with your firm name, the names of attendees, and your preferred date.
