That mission is resonating loudly in Waldorf schools the world over. At Pasadena Waldorf School, we're taking on this profound task of self-reflection and restoration, building an education that reflects, affirms, and celebrates the rich cultural diversity that makes up Greater Los Angeles, Southern California, and the world at large....

My greatest joy has been watching my children blossom under the guidance of great teachers, old and new.

David, PWS Parent

The school's gifted teachers are the source of my greatest joy

John, PWS Parent

I love the parent community; I feel an affinity for the families at PWS which I have not had at other schools.

Shelly, PWS Parent

I found my place here, and I will always have my place here.

Cameron, PWS Alum

It prepared me for higher education most of all, because I had to get into critical thinking. I think it set me apart from a lot of people.

Lolita, PWS Alum

I strongly believe that if everyone had gone to a Waldorf school, or was going to a Waldorf school, the world would be a fantastically better place

Jessica, PWS Alum

Mandarin 4 high school seniors have been reading H Mandarin 4 high school seniors have been reading Hong Lou Meng, one of the four great Chinese classics, since the beginning of the school year. The students have been making tremendous progress reading this long and challenging novel in Chinese. Despite the difficult vocabularies and complex content that require in-depth analysis, the class has started working on the novel's big project: present a poem along with drawing of the scene for each chapter. This group of students deserve a special recognition and laud for their hardworking spirit, tireless effort, and excellent work.

Students discovered the threefold nature of the skull (cranium, facial bones, and jaw) and found that the form and function of these bones is reflected in every region of the skeleton. Here are a few student sketches of the human skull inspired by those made by Leonardo da Vinci’s studies in the late 1400s.
