Position Title: Athletic Director

Position Summary

Pasadena Waldorf School is seeking a full-time Athletic Director to build and manage the after school sports program for middle and high school. Applicants should have a strong background in coaching and athlete development in addition to experience in the administrative duties of team, coach and league management. Other duties include: limited amount of PE teaching, participation in extra duty and substitution rosters, attendance at occasional student events after school and over the weekend, participation in all duties of full-time faculty, and active participation in the school’s outreach and enrollment events.

We are most interested to find dynamic and engaging coaches and leaders who are excited to connect with our students, have a history of work with in a school setting, demonstrated strengths in program management and who are open to learning about the fundamentals of teaching in a Waldorf school. Prior experience with Waldorf education is a plus but is not required.
