Parent-child Meet-and-Greet  (Parent-Child Class, ages 10 months through 3 years)

The PWS Sweet Pea program will continue as planned in the fall, but registration for the program is being temporarily postponed until we have more clarity around health and safety regulations from the county and state authorities. Better understanding of the regulations will allow us to learn how the classes can be set up and make any necessary changes.
Once Ms. Adrienne opens up a Virtual Meet-and-Greet (prerequisite to enrolling in classes) will will let you know, and we will keep you updated as information becomes available. Thank you for your patience in these uncertain times.

Click here to fill out a Sweet Pea Fall 2020 Interest Form here to be contacted when Ms. Adrienne opens up Virtual Meet-and-Greet sessions.

Hello and welcome!

We invite you to explore Waldorf Education first hand while you take a peek inside Waldorf classrooms, meet teachers and current parents, and see our beautiful campuses at a school tour.

High School Tours (McComb Mendocino Campus)

Our Saturday High School Tours provide an opportunity for prospective students and parents to experience for themselves Waldorf’s unique approach to learning. Demonstration lessons by members of our high school faculty allow both you and your student to enjoy the deeply engaging nature of each discipline as brought to life by experts who are passionate about their fields.

Saturday 9 – 11am tours at the high school are for prospective students and their parents and are held at our McComb Mendocino Campus,  536 E. Mendocino Street, Altadena, CA 91001

Lower School Tours (Machris Mariposa Campus) for Kindergarten through Grade 8

EXPERIENCE WALDORF EDUCATION IN ACTION by taking a tour of classes in session. This unique opportunity to visit during the school day provides parents an insider’s look at what makes our classes, teachers, and students unique. Teachers fire a passion for learning and students express genuine enthusiasm and collaboration. During each tour we will spend time in several classes from Kindergarten through Grade 8. As we will be visiting several classrooms in session, we ask that you do not bring children (except for babies in arms)

8:45 – 11:00am tours will visit students in their daily Main Lesson, usually an academic class.

10:30am – 12:30pm tours will visit subject classes which may include world languages, games, handwork, woodwork, movement, play practice, chorus, or music.

Lower School Tours are held at our Machris Mariposa Campus,  209 E. Mariposa Street, Altadena, CA 91001
