Adrienne Wilde

Parent Child Teacher

Location: Mariposa Campus

Adrienne came to the Pasadena Waldorf School when her son entered the Rose Kindergarten in 2002. When PWS started a Parent Child class for the first time in 2004, Adrienne was hired as the assistant. The following year she moved into the lead teacher position and has been the Sweet Pea Parent Child teacher ever since. She loves introducing Waldorf Education to young children and working with their parents on creating a simple environment grounded by rhythm and loving boundaries.

Although Adrienne has received Waldorf training from the Waldorf Institute of Southern California in Northridge, Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento, and the Rudolf Steiner Institute (Green Mountain College, VT), she values most the opportunity she has had over the years studying with esteemed PWS colleagues who generously share their wisdom and knowledge of Anthroposophy. When not working with families, Adrienne practices Bhakti Yoga, plays the harmonium, manjir and dholak, and travels as often as possible to India.
