The PWS After-School Care Program provides a safe, natural environment in which children can climb, play, run, work on social skills, and be of service to their classmates, school, and larger community.

In our After-School Care Program, children are immersed in an environment reminiscent of many of our own childhood neighborhoods. Groups of similar-aged children play together in three separate areas on our campus. An hour-long optional study hall is provided for children who need a quiet environment in which to work or receive help with homework assignments. Our staff cook lovingly prepares two nutritious after-school meals daily.

Ten dedicated staff members, all pursuing careers in education and trained in First Aid and CPR, provide a program of the highest quality, headed by a trained Waldorf teacher who brings the principles of Waldorf education into the After-School Care Program.
