High School Music

Music is a core element of the Waldorf curriculum, and plays a central social and artistic role in the high school. The music program allows every student, from novice to accomplished musician, to participate fully in the study and performance of choral and instrumental music. The program’s goal is to empower students through a deep understanding of music as a language that they can perform, interpret, and create.

A key aspect of the Waldorf music program is that all students work directly with professional musicians who compose and arrange music specifically for the interests and capabilities of the chorus and instrumental ensembles.
