Gisella Gatica was born in Lima, Peru. She has been part of Waldorf Education as a parent and an educator for over 10 years. Gisella has a B.A. in Graphic Arts from Cal State Long Beach and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Culture from Cal State University Northridge, where she graduated with honors. In 2005, she completed her Waldorf teacher certification at the Waldorf Institute of Southern California before receiving her Master of Arts degree in Spanish Literature from California State University Northridge in 2012. Señora Gatica has worked at Highland Hall Waldorf School and the City Waldorf School as a Spanish teacher both in elementary and high school grades. She comes to our high school with over 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching Spanish privately to high school students and adults. Gisella is currently working on completing the Foreign Language Program at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, California.
