Employment Opportunities
An independent, not-for-profit school for children in early childhood through grade nine, fully accredited by AWSNA, Pasadena Waldorf School is nestled in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. Our school is a welcoming retreat from suburban congestion, with easy access to the mountains, the seacoast, and the amenities of the Greater Los Angeles area. The Pasadena Waldorf School opened its new High School with a lead class of 17 students and will be adding a new 9th Grade in August 2013. Pasadena Waldorf High School is located in 5,000 sq. ft. of classroom and office space on the William Carey International University, a 17-acre property 2.5 miles from the lower school campus.
Founded in 1979, Pasadena Waldorf is a well-established, stable school with curricula and programs based on Rudolf Steiner’s picture of child development and the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) Shared Principles. Our active, mutually supportive faculty enjoy competitive salaries and a generous employee benefit program. The Los Angeles Branch of the Anthroposophical Society and Library is located nearby in Pasadena.
